Belarusian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolai Paskevich has claimed that issues of Azeri oil supply are solved in principle. "Azerbaijan is ready to deliver oil to Belarus, if there is a favorable market conditions," Patskevich said. In 2011, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) delivered oil to this country within the swap transactions with involvement of Venezuela. "This year, such supplies are not carried out. Issues of economy solve all,” Patskevich said. Finally, the question of direct supply of oil can be resolved in late August during the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Belarus. "It may be an important factor in the diversification of oil imports by Belarus," Patskevich believes. Fineko/abc, 09.07.2012
